The last two weeks of the season the water always had color but the temps were good and the fish were hitting, if the bait was right on there nose. June fishing brought some nice fish in for the whole month we caught fish almost everyday , with the tides, and we had a good carry over of Late June Kings to cover the first week in July while the big July late run fish began to show, we are looking forward to a great season in 2010 so get your vacations set and get on board.

Final wrap for the 2008 Kenai River King Season

Let me say first to the clients that we fished this season , thank you , and thanks again for your support without you we could not provide the best services available on the Kenai. Also to all of our return clients that we have been fishing for years now, as well as into the generations of returns "hats off to you", we are pretty darn lucky to have great jobs where we get to follow Kings 9 months out of the year and provide services to folks like yourself. We have never tried to make these Kenai trips to get your fish and off the water, but just taking a little extra time during the day waiting for the right time on tide to hook that right fish. Many fish were caught and released over the course of the 2005 season looking for the 100# King Salmon that would take us over the top, we didnt get the big bite we needed, we did see some fish in the 80# class, so we ended up the season with eleven fish in the 60# range and only one fish over 70#, we will continue our quest for that 100# pound Salmon in the 2006 Kenai River King Season, we hope to see you and yours there with us, give us a call lock your days in, if its your first trip on a river to seasoned pro, we would like to hear from you, keep your lines tight &
